THE VISITORS

At their height in the mid-1900s, there were between 2000-4000 Shakers in 23 villages in the United States. Currently, Sabbathday Lake in Maine is the only active village with just a handful of Shakers there.

This is not a story of scarcity or decline, however. 'The Visitors' is the story of the people who orbit the village, who are not shakers. Some of whom have dedicated their whole lives to the success of Sabbathday Lake.
